As we look ahead to 2026, we're excited to continue welcoming visitors to explore our scale model displays, museum-quality exhibits, and engaging Train Tales programs. We also plan to expand our youth programming. Every membership and donation helps us maintain this special place where past and present generations can celebrate the remarkable history of Saluda Grade—the steepest mainline railroad grade in the United States.

Your Support Makes a Difference

Every contribution has a direct impact on our mission. For example, $25 provides Junior Conductor kits for 5 children, introducing the next generation to railroad history. Larger gifts help us maintain exhibits, preserve artifacts, and keep the Depot open and accessible to all—completely free of charge.

Just go to PayPal using the button below and purchase or stop by the Saluda Historic Depot, 32 W Main Street, Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 4pm, Sunday, 1pm to 4pm. Get one for each member of the family to enjoy. Your membership card/s will be mailed to you.
